Convenient location right in the heart of everything was a big bonus! 🌟

My single room was clean but had only a shaft of daylight through the window as it looked out to concrete walls.It was ok for one night but if staying longer it would be depressing.

The hotel is fairly clean and simple, offers particularly good and handy location close to everything. The staff is pleasant and amiable. Make sure you stay in the double room with all the necessary facilities...

During my recent stay at Hotel Residence Am Hauptbahnhof, I was impressed by the cleanliness of the hotel and the size of the room. The bathroom was lovely, and the fluffy towels provided added a nice touch of luxury. The hotel's proximity to the train station was also a plus, making it easy for me to explore the city.

While there were a few drawbacks mentioned in the database reviews, such as the dodgy area and the lack of an elevator, I found that these were manageable and didn't significantly impact my stay.

The room was cheap so it was nice surprise to get very clean room, bathroom and a breakfast buffee. 5 minutes from Busstation and Railwaystation. Many sexshops on a street, but well, it Hamburg. We would go again, no problem.

A very niche hotel in the real centre of Hamburg, only 10 mins walk from the downtown. The street itself is very multicultural and full of life until late in the evening. The forniture was good and modern and the breakfast very satisfying even if the air conditioning was quite too strong.

The W-Lan was very weak and it hansn't been possible to use it in a comfortable way.

This place has a fantastic location in the St Georg district, conveniently close to the main train station, with delicious restaurant food and a savory breakfast including ham, juice, and cheese.

the bed was uncomfortable due to the pillow collasping to nothing when you put your head on it.

The hotel is situated very close to both the main train and bus stations which makes getting around town and getting to the airport is very easy. Breakfast is good and the rooms are comfortable and have a good bathroom. Desk staff speak English.

The road it's on isn't Hamburg's nicest but if you are using it as a base to explore the rest of the city it's fine. We ordered a double room but it comes as two singles pushed together.

Great location near central station, helpful staff, affordable price, clean rooms, good logistics for early starts.

the clerk is unfriendly. elevtor is only up to 2nd floor and they don't open for residences, so you need to take heavy luggage by yourself and go stairs.

I was pleasantly surprised by the value for money at this hotel. The prices were very reasonable, especially considering the amenities provided. The attention to detail in the recently renovated bathroom was impressive, and the double bed with a bathtub was a nice touch. Additionally, the staff were friendly and provided excellent service throughout my stay. I also appreciated the convenient location in the center, directly next to the main station.

All was satisfactory, nothing to complain about.
